Well, summer has been here, gone, and come back again! What muggy days we're having. But it has been a good change from all the cold ones!! Hope everything is well on your homefront! Things are as always, busy here! Luke's 2nd job keeps him away and mommy and myah bored :) We're doing the best we can, though! I've found a new park!! It's called Preston's Hope. It's in Beechwood, so it's a little drive, but it's worth it! Everything is handicap accessible, which means not a lot of stairs, and the ground is "padded". I can never remember what they use to make it soft! And she loves it! If you're ever free, just give us a call, and we'll go play! :) Here are some lo's from the last couple of weeks. I'm still working on the dedication photos, but there are a few LO's from that weekend. Got a bunch more photos to use though!!

News and Such...

So, there have been a lot of things going on in the last couple of weeks!! First and foremost, I'm sooo excited! There's a child dedication ceremony at Church of the Hills June 15th! Luke wouldn't let anyone but Randy do the dedication, so we've been waiting for the date, and there it is! Very cool! Mom and dad and Alli are coming up for that weekend! Also why I'm excited! For sure we'll go to the beach :) Myah's favorite place to play at the moment. And in general, it's just been busy. We're making the transition from school to summer camp at the Y, so there's lots of training and paperwork going on. On the homefront, every day Myah makes me laugh. Case in point, check out my first LO!! She's such a hoot! Her personality is definitely shining! Anyway, that's my update for now!

I realize it's way past time to update this thing... Wow, who knew how busy being a mommy could be! :) Loving every minute of it!! Plus, the new job at the Y, balancing Luke's third shift schedule, the recent move.... Yeah, to say the least we've been busy! Plus, I've got TONS of layouts (LO's) to post. We went to the beach today. I, of course, took a BUNCH of pics, so look for those LO's soon. I'll post most of my new ones. Hope you like them! Leave me a comment to let me know! Myah's got another tooth, btw!! That makes 5!! She's growing up sooo fast!!

And, it's Luke's birthday today!!! Yeah!!! He made dinner (he volunteered thank you very much!), we had cake, Myah and I sang to him this morning when we got him up. We let him sleep in today, since he had the day off. Mommy's turn to get up with Myah. Na na na!! She slept until 8!!! GO MYAH!!!

LO's Galore!!

Okay, so I've been a busy girl the last couple of days. Mostly with Myah... Luke's been doing some overtime, and that leaves us girls at home by ourselves! Luckily, we've had grandma to keep us busy! I just want you to know, my daughter amazes me!! Every day!! The last couple of days, she's really gotten loving. Lots of hugs out of nowhere... She'll just come up and lay her head on your shoulder. I'm loving it!! Today, she learned how to take her shirt off... Yep, all the way off, ALL by herself. She even laughed with me when she got it off! She's such a comical little thing!

Anyway, I've done some LO's. Mostly for the new ADSR, but also some for my CT's. Here's a few of the better ones::

Too Much on My Plate!!

Okay, so I've done decided that I have too much on my plate...!! Yikes, it happened so fast. Actually, if I were more organized, it would be a piece of cake!

Nikki and I have just started our Amazing Digi Scrapping Race. What fun!! My LO is below, along with my gallery link. Just in case you wanted to leave some love! :) The prizes are amazing (at least I think they will be). The first one rocks!!

We also just got done doing the Treasure Hunt at DST. That was fun, stressful, but fun! I got a lot of new stuff!! I'm working on a page for that one sometime today (hopefully)!

There are a lot more LO's I want to do at The Sweet Shoppe ... not sure I'll get around to many of them this month, but hopefully next!

I'm also still trying to get that Legacy Book page done.. Waiting on mom!!

We just finished a sketch challenge at GDS, along with a brag book challenge. Just waiting for those to expire, we'll have lots of new stuff then too!

Going to try to make a LO for Sweet Digi Scraps, too. I'm all about the prizes!!

You know those pictures that you take... The ones that you absolutely love, IF ONLY THEY WEREN'T BLURRY!!?? I took one of Myah today. I almost hate deleting it, because it's just so darn cute. Birth Story

Along with the COTH pages I'm working on finishing, there's a challenge at www.godigitalscrapbooking.com that I'm involved in as well. Here's the challenge:

This month we are going to scrap our birth stories. Birth stories are as individual as fingerprints - what makes your's unique? Do you have an early photograph of you as an infant? I'm not sure I'll get any LO's up today. Myah and I have a busy day while Daddy's at work. Grandpa is preaching tonight, it' s a spotlight for his new church at CVC!! So, after the service, there's a party! :) Well, sort of a party I guess :P Needless to say, we'll be gone most of the day! I've downloaded some new kits, some new templates and some maps I can't wait to play with!! Here's hoping I'll get a few up in the next couple of days!!

Okay. Here's the deal... Writing is hard with a one year old!! I can't promise anything, but I'm going to try to stay on top of things. My goal is to make this mostly about Myah, but about my scrapping as well. Which shouldn't be hard since she's usually the subject!! So, here's my first post!

Myah's always after my camera. I wanted to go 'not so sweet' with this page. Here come her tantrums!! :)

Sorry It's Been A While

We ARE still here!!! Myah's been sick the last couple of weeks...:( She's had an ear infection and a uri, now she's got ahead cold with LOTS of drainage, so we're fighting congestion all night long. Sleeping moments are precious and being taken advantage of!! But, I just wanted to tell everyone just how proud I am of my baby girl!! She is not only pulling up on EVERYTHING, but she gas also learned to sit up by herself! Today, I found her walking around the pack and play, obviously using the sides, but she's finding out that she can MOVE!!!! It's fun to watch her! Oh, I almost forgot (this has been a very busy week for her) she's learning how to shake her head "no". "Are you a good girl??" mommy asked her yesterday. There goes the head!!! :P I love her!!!!! She was eating cereal this morning and shook her head when she didn't want anymore. Seriously she never ate another bite! How fun to warch her discover her potential!! Gotta go, she didn't stay asleep very long!:(

Denise and I went and saw Nichole Nordeman tonight at the church. There were two songs that she sang tonight that struck a deep chord with me. I hope it wasn't a "had to be there" moment, but songs usually are. Either way, I wanted to share them with you.

Sorry guys!! I reloaded the video on my photobucket so you should be able to see her crawl now. She's doing much better now, and she's all over the house. She loves being in the kitchen. The tile makes noise when she runs her hand across it, so you know she's amazed!! She pulled up on her crib the other day. The front was lowered and we were right there to watch her! She pulled up to her knees and then wobbily (spelling) stood up. It was so fun to watch! We were cheering her on, so you know she loved the attention, and she just started smiling!! The girl has me wrapped around her tiny little fingers already!!

So, we went to get pictures taken today at Wal-mart. The girl who took them was great!!! We got our first official family picture taken. Didn't turn out too bad! Then, of course we had to get some of just her. She's such a ham for the camera!! They turned out really good. Give us 3 weeks and we'll be mailing some out. I can't wait for you to see them! I'll upload an email version as soon as I have them, although she said it would probably be that long anyway...:( But, I just wanted you to know that they turned out great!! She's getting sooo big! The last time we had pictures taken (back at Easter) she wasn't smiling and couldn't sit up yet! Now, we had a hard time getting her to focus on the camera because the girl had props in the photo... Leaves in one and flowers in the other and Myah loves to play with anything she can get her hands on!! But, they turned out cute and she gave us a couple of big smiles!

Okay, so my daughter makes me laugh every minute of every day!! Today I've found has been no different. We took her to the library today to get her some books. Three Billy Goats Gruff, Who's Nose and Toes, Corduroy... cute books that she won't listen to, but I'll read anyway!! So, all throughout the library she's gooing and laughing. She does that, you know. Just out of nowhere, she'll break into this little giggle that is all Myah. On our way home, though, she totally made me laugh so hard I was crying. It's a guess you had to be there moment, but I'll share it anyway. She can reach her toes now, can even chew on them if she feels like it! So, she was playing with her toes and put one of her fingers in between her big toe and her first toe. Well, she got it "stuck"!!! She had curled her toes up and couldn't pull her finger out from between her toes. I just couldn't help but laugh!!! Of course, I removed her finger from between her toes, but it was soo funny!! And she started smiling at me because I was laughing. Like she knew she had done something silly!! Like I said, a "you had to be there" moment, but I thought I'd let you guys see how goofy my lovely daughter can be sometimes!!!

Anyway, we're getting pictures taken in a few hours, Myah is taking a nap so she's all smiles, daddy's taking a nap 'cause he let mommy sleep in this morning. And me? I'm wondering what to do with my free time!!! Maybe I'll read a book... Haven't done that in a LONG time!!
